(11 March, 5:00'ish pm) Two cars came to a sudden and abrupt halt this afternoon at the intersection of Settlement Rd and Rt 38 North. Emergency services from Owego, both fire and ambulance, were on hand tending to the drivers and occupants of both vehicles. One of the emergency services personnel that I spoke with indicated that there were no serious injuries.
