This weekend I was treated to a nice surprise when leaving the North Side of Endicott. I saw the bright unmistakable colors and patterns of a hot air balloon. I did not make it to this Summers Speedie Fest and Balloon Rally, so imagine my surprise, getting a ring side seat (in my car) as this balloon was making what seemed to be a landing attempt on Taft Avenue, Endicott at the Cemetery. It was still pretty foggy, so getting good pictures was a challenge. The Chase Crew was on the scene, and ready, but the balloon managed to get some lift after all and "Up, up, and away" it went.
