a buteo, I think a broad-winged hawk (or red-shouldered or rough-legged) on road in Greene today near a dried up marsh, 8/17/12; got pretty close before it took off

Hi RDC, nice pic. I haven't seen the hawks around my place this year. I guess their tree got chopped down because some people want 200 foot loud smelly rigs in their backyards :/
