While driving home from work I happened to notice a field full of about a dozen or so of robins! Robins - a sure sign that perhaps this HORRIBLE weather that we have been experiencing in the area for the past month or so is finally going to be behind us. I pulled my truck over to try and capture a photo or two but the little guys are still quite skittish and they scattered. One did remain though and allowed me to at least aim my camera at him before he too took off. Not a great shot by any stretch - but hey - thats a robin - in our area! Thats a good thing! ;)
The birds were scene in a field off of Newark Valley / Maine Road, also known as Rock Rd near Newark Valley, NY.
