This plant began to grow under where I had bird feeders. It was obviously a Sunflower plant from the beginning, but for months now, I have started questioning if it might just be a "Sun-leaf-plant". It is at least 12' high today, and still no flowers. It does however finally have what looks to be flower buds. I'm currently trying to decide if I should get some climbing gear and go in search of the 'Goose that lays the golden eggs'. But I would have to make sure my husband has an ax handy. Or should I just build a 'tree fort' in it. Has anyone else seen such tall Sunflower plants?
If I'm not back in 24hrs grab the ax
