A workshop by "Simple Gifts"was held prior to the concert at Phelps Mansion Museum. The workshop taught participants of all ages at The Second Sunday Concert in Binghamton to play spoons, following in the Appalachian tradition where two teaspoons are held in one hand and played as a percussion instrument.
