I photographed these blooms, the product of my wife's hard work, on September 4 in Owego NY. The Hibiscus, that is, not the burdock. The burdock just did its own thing but seemed to be worthy of the camera lens. I was lucky to photograph the burdock bloom before my wife yanked it out of the ground.
