Spent nearly an hour shooting these birds as they were grooming themselves on this old piece of driftwood. This log seems to be a popular place for them to sit and groom themselves as I have seen Ducks, Geese, Herons and White Egrets at various times all summer using this log for grooming purposes.

Love these photos. The White Egrets are one bird that I have not seen at the pond.
