Well maybe I said something about being disappointed that this storm weren't more spectacular? Then I started watching the sun setting from a less than photographic vantage point. The sky with remnants of the storm clouds were beautiful to say the least. Howard... I'm confused about the rainbow I see in the west, after the storm, when the sun is setting in the west... I'm used to seeing them in the east. Then looking to the East - What I saw blew my mind. Almost made me think my neighbors might be a little special to show such a spotlight as this. Do you have an explanation?

I saw some of the same type of images including the ray of red to the East, spectacular!
