Newark Valley's Vinnie Darpino looks on during 2nd half play against hosting Tioga. While Valley won handily last week over Lansings Bobcats (38-0), Tioga's Tigers were a slightly different breed of cat and the birds got turned into chicken wings as Tioga went on to win this one 34-7.

Newark Valley is now 1-1 for the year while Tioga advances to 2-0

Wording was a little harsh...we didn't play our best game, but we did make a lot of moves, one resulting in a touch down...We still believe in our boys and the season is far from over.
