On Saturday September 15th, 2012 Borrowed Freedom had its inaugural Competitive Trail Trail. More than 28 horses and their riders tackled more than 4 acres and 14 obstacles to win prizes and raise money the Borrowed Freedom Therapeutic Riding and Hippotherapy program. The event was graciously hosted by Jamie and Angelo Wooten and raised nearly $1500 for scholarships. Borrowed Freedom provides all services at no charge to the client and serves more than 35 clients each week.
