I decided to get my one year old, female, black lab a companion. So, I contact the Front Street Dog shelter and told them what I was looking for. A couple of months went by, when my cell phone rang. The woman on phone at the shelter told me that they just got in 2 different litters. So, I raced to the shelter to find a 4 adorable golden retriever mixed puppies. I picked the runt of the litter. I started the adoption process which included meeting my black lab. The hit it off immediately. Best friends for life!
