On our way to Geneva NY we spied this white deer feeding with normal colored White Tailed Deer. I have seen them in this area for years. I believe this was a military base years ago so a very large area is fenced. The deer are not domesticated but, I've been told that because the area is fenced the white gene is passed on. Not sure if this is true story but it does make sense.

I did some research and there was a Navel and Air Force base in Romulus, NY. There is a New York State Veterans Cemetery there now that opened last July.

I don't think that was Air Force (Romulus), I'm pretty sure it was the Army. Fort Drum has a Rex-84 Center, they're primarily Air Force I think. I saw the classified document Regarding ICE and that's how I found out about Romulus.

I was pretty sure that was the case. Does anyone know if this is where the Navy and Air Force base was. I have seen white deer there for 30 yrs.

You're right, it used to be a REX-84 Center there, an internment camp. Remember Interment Camps were used before, we used them on Japanese and on Cubans. Elmira had a prison where they captured Confederate Soldiers, it was like GITMO of the 1860's
