News from the Youth at Blessed Trinity at St. Margaret Mary's
Thirty youth from Blessed Trinity at St. Margaret Mary’s, Apalachin, surrounding sites and other faiths, participated in the 30 Hour Famine from March 28th and 29th 2008. They went with no food for 30 hours to experience what hunger feels like. With the help of friends, family, neighbors and the church community, they were able to send $2618 to World Vision to help those that are hungry every day. Part of the experience was to see how much food we could buy with $5.00, sleep in a box and to serve lunch at a local “Soup Kitchen”.
Thank you to all that helped make this possible.
