08 April 08 - The young men of the JC varsity lacrosse team scored a win today against a visiting Dryden team, with the score at the final horn being 12-9. Hardly an expert on the game by any stretch of the imagination, it was my observation that this was a closely contested match due to weaknesses on both teams. Comparatively speaking, Dryden's goal tending endured a shelling, while JC's goal was tested far less often. Had Dryden been able to control the ball better and taken more shots on goal, this game could have swung in their favor, but the guys from JC held them off in the end.
