My area of Endicott appears to have made it through the rough night amazingly well in comparrison to what I'm seeing from NYC and elsewhere hard hit from 'Sandy'. There was no loss of power or even a slight flicker of lights at my home and out my window I have a wind gage... the neighbors huge weeping willow. The way the branches and leaves sway on this tree tells me a lot. I can often count on my wind chimes but those were taken down in anticipation of high winds.
