Well just as the news of devastation that Super Storm Sandy left, keeps coming in we are still seeing it's effects. I recently submitted a video of my Endicott neighbor's huge willow tree blowing frantically in the wind. I use it (used to) as my personal weather vane to know how strong the wind is blowing. Well imagine my surprise, when just this morning, about 6 days after Sandy's surprise, I would see the neighbor's tree down. The height of the root ball is about 12' or more. The chain link fence at the rear is about 10' high. My husband estimated the tree to be about 80' tall.He is 6' tall. I have no idea when this fell, but my being two properties to the North, never felt or heard a thing... I think it may have just laid it's self down quietly?
