November is Epilepsy Awareness month. My son suffers from epilepsy and recently underwent epilepsy surgery at Beth Israel/Roosevelt Comprehensive Epilepsy Program to help control his seizures. On Saturday, November 10, 2012 a group of friends and family traveled to NYC to participate in the 1st Annual Into the Light Walk for Epilepsy Awareness to help support The Epilespy Foundation of Metro NY and to raise awareness and fund epilepsy education and empowerment programs.
