The skiing in Vermont was excellent this past weekend (4/19/08.) Blue skies, warm temperatures and great snow. This combination of conditions is what skiers wait for all year. It doesn't last long, though. Despite a heavy snow pack, Killington lifts stopped for the season Sunday afternoon. Sugarbush, Jay Peak and Mt Snow plan on being open for one more weekend and close for the season April 27th.
