Red-breasted Nuthatch

What's Faster Than a Speeding Bullet?

Red-breasted Nuthatches are tiny, very active birds. We enjoy watching these intense bundles of energy as they sometimes move through our trees along with our chickadees. We often sight them walking up and down tree trunks in our yard searching in bark crevices for hidden insects. They make tiny, little, distinctive sounds that tell us they are coming to our feeders.
