This lone duck was out for an early morning swim in the gorgeous sunrise on the Whitney Point Lake. It glided along with the greatest of ease watching the sun and fishermen.

Looks like a Female Commen Merganser. I had one on the Creek in Maine NY . See Raised 7 Duckling all by Herself.
