Sundogs ah sundogs . I shot 3 this year may,oct,nov all near sunset. They can occure any time if the conditions are right. Easy to miss with the sun 1,000's of times brighter! About 7 years ago I saw a double one on both sides of the sun at Dawn. I wonder how many i Missed?

I love sundogs too. I saw a double three years ago. also on either side of the sun.

I am so blind! It was a Double Sundog. Editing on an old 11 inch 12 year old Photo Tube. I missed alot. and I cheched when I shot. but If I would have Just walked 50 Yards I would have seen it Behind the Tree! I noticed the glow behind the tree 5 mon
