I'm Bill Sullivan from Binghamton. In memory of my youngest brother Joe Sullivan who passed away in 2006 from a car accident on black ice at age 23, my family puts a real tree in his bedroom as he always did growing up, only bigger now. For 6 years it's been a red, white, & blue patriotic theme because he loved politics and the USA. My 8 year old nephew Fisher asked if I was going to put edible chocolate ornaments on the tree again this year. I couldnt get them as Target was the only store that carried them. I decided to make my own ornaments with Lindor chocolates and THEN went ALL OUT and decided to change it up with a Willy Wonka theme, filling the entire tree with candies and chocolates!! I had to put a hook on each individual piece of candy. Even the "manger" is a gingerbread house. The kids saw it for the first time last week with all the lights going, soundtrack playing on the computer and the original movie playing on the tv in the room. It was a magical experience for several 8 year olds !! And I told them that ALL the candy is their's after Christmas to take to the movies (I got them movie passes). All in memory of my brother and their Uncle Joey & I'm sure he is smiling down on his room and the Willy Wonka themed Christmas tree. Thank You, Bill Sullivan ~ West Side, Binghamton, NY
