Uncommon woodpecker leaving it's mark

We came home to find these huge holes in our tree in the backyard, and a pile of sawdust on the ground. We got pictures of the female Pileated Woodpecker and compared the pictures to our bird books. According to our books, this is a crow size, uncommon woodpecker and based on it's markings, it's a girl!
