'Under cover'

Snow cover, blanket of snow.

With the warmer days and awesome sun the last few, things are heating up a little throughout the day time hours. Then gets cold again. I noticed in several places where the cover of snow is slipping with the warmth, and looking like a blanked draped over something. Then the terms, 'Undercover', 'Blanket of snow' and 'Snow cover' came to mind.
