my mom should win a mothers day contest because she has been through alot of heartache. she has taken care of me for 17 years with unconditional love. within the past 4 years she tried to have another baby. she lost 3. i saw the pain in her eyes everytime and it broke my heart. she gave up hope and then found out she was pregnant again. she went through alot of pain getting shots everyday from me because she is afraid of needles and couldn't do it herself. she didn't believe that she would be able to carry this baby and was very depressed. she worked right up till 2 weeks before she gave birth to my liltle brother mykal. he is now 10 1/2 months old and gives us such joy. i just want my moms first mothers day with mykal to be a special. and it would be nice to win the contest because mom says that her and i should get away for the day and do something together. my mom is the best!

what a beautiful entry. i hope you win. it sounds like you could really use a day for you and your mom. it was a beautiful thing you did for your mom in giving her the shots, you must love her dearly. you are right, miracles do happen!
