Veterans from WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Desert Storm, Iraq wars will participate plus others who are or were in the military service during peace time. There will be floats or other transportation provided for those who prefer not to march.
Following the parade and services, all are welcome back to the Guilford United Methodist Church for a complimentary continental breakfast where you can meet and talk with our veterans. A special presentation by Millie McKee, sister of Lt. Floyd Nelson will be given. The Veterans Committee of the Guilford Historical Society will have displays and listings of Guilford’s veterans to view. Veterans are asked to bring stories and any photos they may have that we may scan and add to our Military Archives of the Historical Society.
