Northern Harrier

Beautiful Mash Hawk

This male Northern Harrier, also called a Marsh Hawk, landed briefly atop our feeders, but he wasn't interested in birdseed. He was surveying the area for little birds that would make a tasty snack. He wasn't successful and flew away without lunch.
