This morning the parking lot of Rossi Pizza, on Endicott's North Side, was like an obstical course. With the icy conditions (although the streets were salted through the wee hours of the morning) on the sidewalks and parking lots, coupled with those winds... it looks as though the trash and recycle containers are not waiting for anyone to bring them under cover... they started making their way on their own! A passer by had to stop and move 2 recycle containers from the curb, that were blocking traffic. Two minutes after he left, they took off again. Be careful out there. You never know when one of these will grow legs and run out in front of your car.
