This red-tailed hawk was hunting this afternoon near Chenango Forks. It was patiently waiting and watching passing traffic on the busy highway until it spotted something that it wanted to dinner. We saw plenty of them doing the same thing as we went down the road.

It's a month later... I saw a red tail hawk sitting on an overhead road light on Front Street near BCC. lol... Looks like the same bird- it was huge!
