Giant Moth or Butterfly...

I was getting in to my car when I noticed this on my Garage Door. It was huge! I have never seen a bigger insect. It was like 9 inches from wing to wing and 6 from top to bottom. I don't know what it is but I hope it is not what all these caterpillars turn in to because I don't want a bunch of these things flying around!

This is a Cecropia Moth or silkmoth. It's the largest North American Moth. If you look under my user name of chinduck29, you'll find one there. I originally thought it was a Lunar Moth. However, the really is no species with thename Lunar Moth.
