Residents of Endwell be warned, Maine-Endwell Key Club's Relay For Life team is flamingo-ing lawns, and yours could be next! Key Club is an international student-led organization which provides its members with opportunities to perform community service, build character, and develop leadership. For the second year in a row now, Maine-Endwell's chapter of Key Club is raising money for The American Cancer Association's Relay For Life- the main fund raiser this year includes exotic pink birds and sneak-attacks. For a small donation that goes directly to Relay For Life and cancer research, people can have the lawns of their family, friends, or forgiving co-workers covered in plastic flamingos! About two weeks remain until the relay, so the club will continue to flamingo the lawns of unsuspecting victims... so once again, be on the lookout, a flock of flamingos could soon be coming to a lawn near YOU!
**If you live within the Maine-Endwell community and are interested in having someone's lawn flamingo-ed for a good cause, you can pick up a registration form at Maine-Endwell High School... but hurry, time is running out!
