Senator James Seward names Frank Slocum recipient of the 2008 Volunteer of Valor Award. Frank Slocum has been a member of the Unadilla Fire Department for 51 years. A ceremony will be held in Albany on June 10th for all volunteers recieving this award. Each senator chose a volunteer from their district to recieve this award. This is the first year such awards have been given out.
