Bald Eagle

Our National Bird

Saturday was a day to celebrate the arrival of the sun so we went out to enjoy photography. We couldn't believe our good luck when we spotted this beautiful bald eagle out sitting in a tree and enjoying the sun, too! I took quite a few pictures before the eagle flew off for a more distant tree.

Awesome captures. Must be young birds. They don't get their full white head/tail until they are 3-4 years old. Often leaving some of them looking like they have a mask. They are beautiful photos.

Great shoot. The irony is Its an unclean bird. According to revelations it will pick our bones after Armogedon. Represents us well . A True capitilistic bird. Highly competitive . No mercy to the enemy. Highly territorial will kill its own kind.
