I was delighted to see that the eagle I spotted over the weekend was back on the same tree yesterday and again I was fortunate to be able to capture a few more pictures before it flew off. It must have been trying to keep warm in the sun while watching its mate sitting in a large nest some distance away. I believe that these eagles are the same nesting pair I have seen for the past two years in this location. From the looks of it, I think the eagles are taking turns sitting on their eggs.
