Admiration from afar

Hiawatha Island Bald Eagles Nest

It was a case of Admiration from afar. I went in attempts to photograph the local family of Bald Eagles on Hiawatha Island, between Apalachin and Owego. The first photograph is the only one I managed, as the adult flew off presumably to get dinner, just shortly after I arrived. I was only able to see movement from the nest in the form of wings stretching and flapping occasionally. Can't tell how many are in the nest, but there was certainly 'someone' patiently waiting for dinner.
