A visiting Bobcat

A Bobcat in the wild.

This picture was taken in my backyard on the outskirts of Endicott. At first I thought it was a large cat, but when I zoomed in with my camera I saw it was a Bobcat. It was stalking something, but I didn't see what. He finally gave up and when he turned to leave I could see his stubbie tail.
It was a thrilling site. I hope to see him again.

Their scream will make the hair stand up on the back of your neck. Mean animal when cornered.
