Hummingbird Moth

Hummingbird Moth on Bee Balm

This is one of four different hummingbird moths that we have seen on our bee balm plants in our garden. We took the picture yesterday. Hummingbird moths love bee balm plants...they are really moths not hummingbirds like we first thought. They are easy to spot because they aren't afraid of people around them. They're constantly hovering, never resting while they collect nectar.
