Black bear in Hillcrest/PortDick

Black bear in Hillcrest and Port Dick

This is a young black bear that has been sighted many times in Hillcrest, Port Dickinson, and the service roads the past couple of weeks. He acts confused and fearful. My grandfather captured this picture. He last saw him cross the road in front of him on Nowlan Rd in Hillcrest by Suzie Q's. He followed the bear as in went down to the East Service Road by the Honda shop. The bear was also spotted in the place where the equipment is held for T&M Excavating on West Service Rd. He then went to Pork Dickinson and up Phelps St. I really don't want the police to shoot the bear. He deserves to be tranquilized an taken to a more appropriate environment, as he is still young.
