Debris coming downiver

Debris & High Water Move Crane

The recent storms that have moved through the area forced the in-river work to halt on the Prospect Mt. bridge project. It has gotten high enough that the large crane used to place the bridge girders was forced to move up the bank onto the service road. In fact it had to moved twice during the day as the river rose so much that the original placement was too near the rising water. Some of the riverbank appeared to have been dug out to allow the crane to move further up the service road.
