Chivalry lives

Good people still out there

If you know any of the men pictured, they deserve a huge Thank you and a hug, for being so chivalrous, and helping a damsel in distress. After just having finished the 3 mile Making Strides against Breast cancer walk, I drove away only half a block before finding I had a flat tire. I tried to call several family members to rescue me and got no answer. Having already walked three miles, I was not looking forward to walking from Rec park back to Endicott. I took a chance and went back to where the walk was and only a few people were left. Luckily I asked a young man if he could change a tire, and he without hesitation jumped in and started to do just that. This turned out not to be your usual quick fix. The tire would not come off. There were a total of 4 men (one not pictured) in the photos, who stopped to help and they could not remove the tire. After a call to the garage that put the tires on, a lot of muscle and 2 hours later, I was home and the car and it's flat at the Garage.

That one guy with the glasses looks like Bill Huston. Personally I don't practice Chivalry, the word "Thank You" seems rare and foreign to women. Besides, women are Strong and Independent
