Pictured are the youth senior Bainbridge-Guilford Bobcats awaiting their last game of the season in Bainbridge, NY on Saturday October 19th at 5pm against the Greene Trojans. All the players worked very hard at the game but in the end the Trojans took the victory over the Bobcats. All of the players wore "eye-Pink" instead of eye-black in support of breast cancer awareness month. Even at their young ages theses athletes are very passionate about such a worthy cause. Also, as the game started the Bobcats had a special announcement of 8 players who are in 6th grade which means they will not be returning to youth sports next year and head youth coach Dave deforest will not be returning next year either. Those players who are in 6th grade are as follows: #12 Brock Deforest, #18 Gabe Sherman, #32 Zach Gardepe, #40 Gage Strong, #47 Brandon Kane,#52 Zach Losurdo, #56 Seth Foster, and #88 Jesse Hart Jr. The players that are ageing out of youth have one more game to play the "Senior Bowl" on October 26th in Greene, NY at 7pm. The Senior Bowl consists of all last year youth players; Bainbridge-Guilford seniors will be combining with Oxford seniors to form one team against the combined team of Greene and Harpursville. Good luck to all the players in the Senior Bowl have fun and give it all you got for your last time on the field as a youth football player; Next year you will all be off to a brighter future as modified football players! Please come out and support all of our youth senior athletes at the Senior Bowl on Saturday even if you do not know a player come out and support your town or just watch a good game of football; These boys deserve a huge crowd to support and cheer for them for their last time out on the field as youth football players!
