Ugly Couch

My dog at my... Ugly Couch!?

This photo was taken back in the spring. I had just purchased my first home... A real "fixer upper". I needed some furniture and was able to score this beauty from a friend. When I first brought it home, I have to admit, it wasn't really my style... But hey... It was FREE! All my friends seemed to hate the couch and refused to sit it on, including my 1 year old lab. I came home from work one evening to a wagging pup with a mouth full of foam. I ran to the living room and this is what I saw. At first, I started to stuff the contents back into what was left of the fabric casing, but quickly realized that wasn't going to work. I admitted defeat and cleaned up the mess my dog had made. The next day, I came home and my dog was sleeping on the couch with no cushions. He still does to this day. He hasn't chewed anything since this, and I think it's time he have a couch with cushions. Maybe, if I'm lucky, I'll get to sit on it too!!!

LOL. I don't think it's the color, maybe the smell. The Term "Ugly" is objective, just like the word "Truth". In a way it reminds me of my guy friends, they've been told they were ugly, not realizing their worth, they're better than what they think
