SA-SA-NA Monument - Evergreen Cemetary

Two Monumentsin Owego

The SA-SA-NA monument to honor the Mohawk Maiden Who Perished in the Rail Road Disaster at Deposit, February 18, 1852. Just as much a monument, to my way of thinking, is this tree at the west end of Brickpond in Owego. It was topped several years ago but never chopped down. It since has new growth and has become a very beautiful tree in its own rights. Sort of like the Phoenix burning and rising from the ashes.

I completely agree about the ability to edit your own work. I've made errors I wish I could have fixed. Nice shot!

My bad, it was me. I selected incorrect image. I still wish we had editing capabilities to correct typos at least

I really wish they would give us editing capabilities to correct situations like this. It sure wasn't rotated when I sent it.
