A group from Triple Cities Ski Club prepares to perfect their skiing techniques before race day.

TCSC wins at Killington Ski/Race Camp

Twenty members of Triple Cities Ski Club participated in the Killington, VT Ski/Race Camp December 1-6, representing the largest group of 78 skiers from around the Northeast. The event focuses primarily on skiing techniques, so it's a great opportunity for all levels of skiers to perfect their skills. Racing is secondary and done voluntarily. Skiers practice going through gates before the big race on Thursday, followed by a banquet with door prizes, in which the top prizes are free skis! TCSC came home with two wins: Rick Day placed first in the men's division and TCSC President Nina Nesky placed second in the women's division. TCSC members look forward to the race camp every year to hone their skills for a great start to the ski season.
