Artic Owls Enjoying Artic Temperatures

Again today, I was fortunate to spot the beautiful snowy owl that has taken up temporary residence in the Southern Tier. I watched it for quite some time enjoying this magnificent sight!

I was surprised that it wasn't on either. It's so well camouflaged, maybe they thought it wouldn't show up on TV. I commend you for seeing it, I would have probably walked right by. For today lets call it a superb owl! (SuperBowl) :)

These animals are so very............ rare to our area. Unbelievable shots! Thanks for sharing them. I was actually fortunate to see one today where I was out getting pictures. They are wonderful creatures which we rarely get to see.

Thanks so much for your comments! I was very surprised that WBNG didn't show this beautiful owl to its audience. Perhaps they didn't realize what a find it was down here in the USA not to mention in our area!

You were so lucky to see these owls! I've only ever seen one in the States. Saw many in Canada. Nice pictures!
