The 35 Express, stuck in the snow of West Endicott and incapable of moving, is hopefully a valid enough excuse to be late to work.

SNOW BLANKETS THE SOUTHERN TIER

This morning, we have all woken up to a winter wonderland blanketed with snow. For many of us, this causes transportation issues. Driving is in no way easy and any brave enough to get out on the roads should drive very safely and slowly; if you don't have to be out there, don't be out there. Even the public buses have had trouble! Children and teachers, on the other hand, are likely delighted to have the day off; children can stay at home and enjoy the snow, and teachers can catch up on all the paperwork they are not able to keep up on when they have to teach all day.

And as much as the transportation issues in this snow may create a headache, at least it creates a beauty that would not be found in warmer climes!
