Spring really is coming

The same tree that had a flock of Cedar Waxwings 2 days ago is now hosting a very large flock of robins. Very bright with the sun shining on their tummies.

Great observing! I saw one this last week for the first time. I thought it was my imagination. I'd have wanted to see a doctor if I saw a flock this time of year!

Poor things. With so much snow in the south, no wonder they're confused. You can put out dried meal worms for them to eat - either in a feeding tray or sprinkled in a cleared area (if you can find one). We sell them at Agway.
