This past week when I thought I saw a Red breasted Robin in the trees, I thought surely it was another breed I wasn't used to seeing in the winter. NOPE, it was a Robin alright. One with a seriously defective or damaged GPS system. I thought also, that it may have been confused with the weather in the South recently and decided to flip it's location around. Surprise! It's worse here budy. Sometimes it just doesn't pay to get 'ahead of the game'. Talk about Talk about 'Early bird getting the worms'... worms are frozen! Hopefully the abundant berries frozen to the trees will be enough to hold them over till a thaw. The European Starlings and Black capped Chickadees are right where they love to be. The seeds and suet are juuuust right.
