While cruising the roads of middle Delaware County we came upon three different sets of animals trying to adapt to the winter snow recently piled up on Valentine's Day. A Bald Eagle searches the West Branch of the Delaware above Bloomville but he's quickly running out of open water for fishing. A White Tailed Deer in Downsville pushes through the still soft snow under an apple tree looking for treats before they are frozen out of reach and four ponies on Telford Hollow Road beat a track through the deep snow in their pasture looking for tasty morsels they can nibble until dinner time. The snow is going to be tough on the animals until the thaw next week.
Searching for goodies.
